I highly recommend Catherine Brown to represent you in a home purchase. I met Catherine at an open house long before I was actually ready to buy. I was impressed by her professionalism and knowledge of the South Auburn Market. She supplied me with listing data for months afterward so I could keep abreast of the market.

When I was ready to buy I had a very specific set of guidelines, price range and timeframe to complete a purchase. If you are familiar with South Auburn you know supply is limited and the nice homes priced right sell very quickly. It’s a seller’s market.

Now here is the part that really impressed me about Catherine. I’ve purchased several homes over the years and I really wanted to drive the bus on this search. I needed the experience and guidance Catherine provided but as much as a consultant and voice of reason. So many agents these days want to tell you what few options you have or dismiss many of your concerns as unrealistic.
I knew exactly what I needed with regards to size, amenities, price and location. It was a very narrow market. I searched the MLS data provided by Catherine and online resources. She also found properties that were coming on the market, ready to reduce prices, and had the back story on properties that I could not have known. As well, she has a seasoned eye for resell and pointed out issues or concerns on properties that in my case as a single man may have overlooked.

Catherine was available whenever I wanted to preview homes. She scheduled viewings and our trips were organized and productive. She prepared printed data of each house hunting tour to review as we looked at the properties.

Ultimately Catherine helped me close a deal on a beautiful newer home with many upgrades. It hit all my requirements including location, BR count, 3 car garage, RV access, tile roof, and upgraded flooring, counters and HVAC. The home needed nothing but cosmetics and personal touches and she brokered the deal at 30 K under asking price. I purchased the home at $187 per sq. foot which is low for South Auburn. We closed escrow in under 30 days. There were no surprises or delays.

If all that wasn’t enough she brought us a housewarming gift. She sent my daughters a gift at Christmas and 5 months later touched base just to see how we are doing.
